The Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E.) is an international non-profit organization founded in 1898 in Seattle, Washington and called themselves "The Seattle Order of Good Things" with a motto of "People Helping People". Eventually the organization chose the Bald Eagle as their emblem and renamed themselves the "Fraternal Order of Eagles" and the motto "If I cannot speak well of an Eagle, I will not speak ill of him".
The F.O.E. has grown to approximately 800,000 members with over 1,500 locations across the U.S. and Canada. The club is a social and charitable organization that blends community service and charitable giving with a private club atmosphere for its members.
The organization donates more than $10 million annually to local and national charities to support programs such as Diabetes health and research, Heart/Cardiovascular health and research, Cancer health and research, Kidney health and research, multiple children's research and disease programs, and many more local charities.

"If I cannot speak well of an Eagle, I will not speak ill of him"
